Описание The Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art Sales Parts I & II includes outstanding works from several distinguished private collections and prominent Museums. Archaic bronze highlights include a rare and important ritual dou food vessel dating to the Eastern Zhou dynasty from the Sano Museum, a finely-cast bronze fangyi from the Springfield Museums, and a very rare Shang dynasty wine vessel in the form of two addorsed owls. Porcelain highlights include an extremely rare and Imperial blue and white necklace box, Jiajing mark and period (1522-1566) and an unusual Qianlong mark and period (1736-1795) yellow glazed and blue decorated hu also from the Springfield Museums, the pair to which is found in the Ashmolean Museum Oxford. Also on offer is an interesting group from the distinguished collection of Emma Dagan includes an Imperial Qianlong mark and period white glass vase carved with archaistic dragons through the ruby red overlay and a magnificent and massive huanghuali plank table. Measuring approximately 15 feet long and 2 feet wide, the top plank at 3 inches thick appears to be the largest known section of huanghuali.
